EducationHonours BA in Psychology at Brock University
ExperienceI have tutored a few students in the past, but most of my skills were developed while I was a teaching assistant in a introductory psychology course at Brock University. I also have four younger siblings whom I've helped off and on throughout their high school experience, which has helped me maintain a strong grasp on the sruggles of a high school student.
ACT score - 27
Recieved Honours in Psychology (require 80%+)

I would love to be a tutor because it is an opportunity to exercise my academic skills and enjoy teaching. They say the best way to learn (or exercise learning) is to pass on the knowledge to someone else. And to be honest, the additional income is always welcome.
My studies in psychology have taken me through a variety of courses:
Basic biology and and community health sciences
Several accounting and economics courses
I specialize in statistics and biological psychology (neurology) which requires sharp math skills and a thorough understanding of biology.
I have also traveled widely, both for personal experience and to participate in house building and relief work.
HobbiesI thoroughly enjoy reading, both for educational development and as a past time. I also love the outdoors, hiking and camping, as well as the opportunity to discover new places and meet new people. While I wouldn't consider myself overly active I do enjoy the challenge of snowboarding when possible, and a game of soccer every now and then.
